Brief introduction about the video

The major project of this subject is video shooting. It will be used for the subject taught by Julia Kalytis as a part of our future campaign and as one of the media products for the class taken by Michael Whittle. Working as a team, Maggie (Liu Man), Lary (Lu Tianyi) and I (Zhou Ya) made commitment that we will strive to accomplish the media product and prepare campaign well in order to send the strong message to our target audience.

The purpose
According to our survey questionnaire, 20 out of 30 Insearch overseas students do not think they have healthy eating habits. Therefore, we undertake the campaign aims to persuade overseas students to change to healthier eating habits, whilst at the same time, spending less time than before. The campaign will involve a proactive and unifying positive message rather than simply scaring the target audiences about the serious effects that bad eating may have on them.

Target audience
The awareness campaign called “healthy eating” is targeted at Insearch overseas students who have a presumed educational and knowledge level. However, it is fairly important that tertiary students outside Insearch find this video appealing and understand the strong sense of eating healthily.

How will it be screened and distributed
The project will be screened on our campaign website and other popular video-sharing sites, such as Youtube and Facebook. The video will be posted on the Radio Insearch Blog site. It can be distributed during the orientation week for new overseas students. The video will be displayed in group members’ own spaces as well.
